SATS Catering Pte Ltd.
Dear Thomas: I would like to express our appreciation for the improvements that you have brought to the Bakery department in SATS. Right from the onset you displayed unbridled zeal in setting new standards for your fellow colleagues. Amongst the many initiatives taken by you it’s worthwhile to mention the following:
Implementation of a Boutique Bakery along with new baking techniques- Introducing freshly baked breads (i.e. 6 hours ahead) for airlines’ Business and First Class customers
- Formulating processes for the use of the newly acquired Tunnel Freezer to freeze dough and par-bake breads so that the company may optimize production schedules
- Most noteworthy is the development of new products that have interested our airline clients including Singapore Airlines, Qantas/British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Japan Airlines, United Airlines, Northwest Airlines, and Korean Airlines.
Despite the sometimes hectic meal presentations, you were able to manage the Bakery team with composure and continue to rise to the expectations of our airline clients. You have been well regarded by many of our colleagues throughout the ranks of our 1,200 strong workforce. On behalf of our Management and colleagues, we do want to wish you great success in your lifetime pursuits and we hope that you would continue to work the dough with the same passion that you have shown when with SATS. Thank you so much, Peter Tay, VP Production 2, SATS Catering
